Why do I ask the question?

Well, think of the air conditioning system in your car as if it were the cooling system on the back of your fridge, they work in the same way.

We don’t have to get our fridges re-gassed because, frankly, they don’t do the mileage our cars do, they don’t have to endure the weather, stone chips, bumps, and potholes that our cars endure.

All joking apart, if your vehicles air con isn’t working at all or is not as cool as it used to be, it is highly likely that it is losing refrigerant due to a leak somewhere in the system and that’s why we ALWAYS carry out an air con health check BEFORE recharging your aircon. 

Not only could recharging without a health check be a waste of money for you, refrigerant is a CFC gas so is harmful to the environment.  It could also cost us a fine of up to £10,000!
